i had a tough time making it so that he looked "holy" or like a guiding light for riku, but in the process i made it so ..hmmm i can think of the word. i guess to me it seems like i kindda over did it. but yeah all the pionts u make are real helpfull, ill most likly come back to this in a few months, i need time for new stuff ^_^;; thnx for the awsome comment
However, your figure drawing still needs a bit of work.
The necks, for instance... The guy standing has a neck thinner than most female characters.
The shoulders of the other guy seem rather lame (and I don't mean the "OMG U R T3H L4M3!" type lame).
The arms are very thin. No matter the style, you should have enough volume in the arms to be able to fit both the bones and the muscles.
I'm totally out of it right now, so I'll cut it short.. Making the guy's neck and arms thicker would improve quite a bit on it. Otherwise you're doing ok, but no slacking off
