Seeker- quiddetch series 1by ~Mrknownothing

This is part of a series of drawings i plan to do. My mission is to draw action scenes of all the quiddetch postions including Seeker, Keeper, Beater and Chaser. This project began when i started playing Quiddetch world cup for the gamecube. its a very cheap game but is all around a good game

, it is exactly like i thought playing quiddetch would feal.

This is the first position i chose to do cuase it seemed like it would be the easiest to "sculpt" you could say. I know that some parts are sloppy but aside from that im very proud of this picture, especially the trees

great drawing. very detailed with good use of colour. the arm reaching for the snitch is well done and looks realistic- especially the creases of the sleeve and the glove. you've also achieved a sense of distance between the pitch and the players by blurring the background and focusing on the players.

however, I think that although the snitch is flapping its wings really quickly all the time, it should still look more solid, and not as blurred.

the stands where the crowds are, seem to resemble fingers, as if those fingers are grasping the pitch just like the hand is trying to grab the snitch.

if you ever do something like this again, maybe try having the sky in the background with a bit of the pitch in the background so as to give it more of a feeling of being in the air, flying around. keep up the good work!

i agree and the stands were a pain in the but , i also was worried that the people would look like fingures aswell O_O, kindda like in the Thumb Wars movie
